Due to the ongoing characteristic smell of sewage from the wastewater treatment facility, your HC MUD 304 Board of Directors approved a capital improvement project that will improve the odor control of the facility.

Dear Mud No. 304 Customers/Residents, We hope this letter finds you well. We are writing a courtesy letter to inform you about errors in payment submissions that were made by residents in Mud No. 304 that will affect the ongoing usage of our services.
Due to a natural occurrence in surface raw water characteristics, which are common, or emergency mechanical repairs in your water production and treatment system we will experience a limited aesthetic, taste, odor, or color issue(s).

The Central Harris County Regional Water Authority is lifting Stage 2 of its’ Drought Contingency Plan (DCP), due to reduced demand. Please keep in mind that Stage 1 of the DCP remains in effect.

Due to minimal rainfall and persistent high temperatures throughout Harris County, please be advised that the Central Harris County Regional Water Authority (the “Authority”) will enter Stage 2 (Moderate Drought) of its Drought Contingency Plan (“DCP”), effective August 27, 2023.
Attention Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 304 (“HC MUD No. 304”) Customers and Residents. The Central Harris County Regional Water Authority, North Harris County Regional Water Authority, and the City of Houston Public Works Department / Public Utility Division has initiated stage one of their respected Drought Contingency Plans (“DCP”).
The Board Meeting Scheduled for August 17th has been canceled due to the inability to make quorum. The next meeting is scheduled for September 21st, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
Please be advised that due to the Regional Water Authority Surface Water algae bloom and extreme heat forecast we will be transitioning from surface water to ground water provided by water well #1 at the Water Plant.
Precision Utility has received a notice from the Regional Water Authorities that surface water provided through the regional water authorities have received complaints about water taste and odor. The cause of this is linked to algae blooming influenced by temperature.
Please be advised: Effective May 20 - 22, Precision Utilities is moving thru out the District testing and flushing our water supply system.

On October 11, 2022, the Board of Directors adopted a total District tax rate of $.6734 which consists of $.3959 for operations and maintenance and $0.2775 for debt service.

Silverglen North Park Project: HCMUD 304 is moving forward with a park project off Arden Ridge Lane. The park will consist of a walking trail, fire pit, amphitheater/performance pad, yoga platform, and will provide areas for a future playground, pavilion, grills, and picnic tables.
The Board of Directors for HC MUD 304 is aware of the attic leak which caused flooding in the Admin building.
A hard freeze is expected in the Houston area towards the end of next week. Now is the time to prepare your home for the cold.
The City of Houston issued a boil water notice yesterday, November 27, 2022. This boil water notice does not affect Harris County MUD 304 residents.

Flushing of the District’s Water Main Lines will be performed on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 and Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
The Main Line Break at 12514 Silverwood Sands Ct has been repaired and water service has been restored. All is clear.
